Director, Stabilization Practice Area

RichJ_Portrait_3-150x150 Rich Jaskot leads Creative’s Stabilization Practice Area to implement programs in conflict and post-conflict areas. He is responsible for Creative’s programs in Syria, which support governance and organizational capacity building, essential services delivery, community policing programs, and agricultural and livelihoods.  

Rich leads business strategy and development to expand Creative’s stabilization work in conflict areas. He has helped secure funding for stabilization projects in Syria from the governments of the United States, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Canada since August 2012. 

Rich has overseen Creative offices in four countries, with, at times, more than 125 employees. 

Prior to joining Creative in 2012, Rich spent six years as a Principal for Booz Allen Hamilton, leading a portfolio of work supporting the U.S. Defense and the State Department in Europe, including supporting the establishment of U.S. Africa Command. He joined Booz Allen after retiring from the U.S. Navy as a Rear Admiral, completing a 31-year career which culminated in Flag Officer positions as the Deputy Plans, Programs and Policy (J-5) for the U.S. European Command (prior to the establishment of US Africa Command); and then as the Commandant, National War College, National Defense University, for the classes of 2004, 2005 and 2006.   

Rich has a Master of Science degree in National Resource Strategy, from National Defense University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois.
