GETTING TO KNOW KAREN
What is it that drew you to the company?
I was first introduced to Creative as a consultant more than 20 years ago. Since then, I’ve worked for the World Bank, USAID and the Asian Development Bank, among others. I decided to join full-time in 2007.
Do you have a favorite development experience you can share?
As a Creative consultant in 1991, I wrote the first analysis for USAID on strategies to increase girls’ educational access, persistence and achievement worldwide. It’s one of my proudest professional accomplishments.
Do you have a favorite, unique or fascinating country where you have worked?
While I’ve been to many countries around the world, Guinea will always top my list.
What do you appreciate most about Creative’s approach to project implementation?
I appreciate Creative’s emphasis on strong planning when designing and implementing programs.
