Beyond your job title, please explain your role at Creative.
I joined Creative in 2009 and established the practice area, leading the development and implementation of strategic and business planning.
Our practice area designs, develops and manages a diverse programmatic portfolio in Africa, Asia, Central America and the Middle East that includes work in constitutions and electoral law; election management; voter registration; electoral education; political finance; electoral integrity; electoral violence prevention, mediation and management; and capacity building of civil society organizations.
My team works in a wide range of countries to support fair, inclusive, legitimate elections free from electoral violence.
Do you have an accomplishment or programmatic result that you are particularly proud of?
I am particularly proud of the team that I assembled to develop and manage an exciting, growing and diverse portfolio of projects. Our group of committed electoral professionals comes with distinct and complementary experiences, expertise and educational backgrounds.
We have worked together to support constitutional reform in Libya, the management of elections in Somaliland, civil society’s capacity to promote civic engagement in Egypt, and the prevention, mediation and response to electoral violence in West Africa, helping give people a voice in how they are governed.
