GETTING TO KNOW TERRY
Beyond your job title, please explain your role at Creative.
I see myself as helping to grow Creative’s election practice area, incorporating elections into Creative’s other program areas, and looking for new areas – constitutional design, anti-corruption – in which Creative can get involved.
Do you have an accomplishment or programmatic result or activity that you are particularly proud of?
I successfully led the design of Creative’s first program that focuses specifically on constitution drafting.
Do you have a favorite, unique or fascinating about your work in development?
I love working on the legal framework of a country, which I consider to be the backbone of a developing nation that sets a state up for long-term, democratic success.
What is it that drew you to the company?
Honestly, the people. Most, if not all, of the people I have encountered at Creative are real, genuine people that believe in the work that we do.
When you recommend Creative to other people, what are the attributes that you often mention?
Dedication, commitment, great work/life balance.
