GETTING TO KNOW LONNA
Beyond your job title, please explain your role at Creative.
My role at Creative Associates is to lead the Business re-engineering effort bringing about more synchrony, integration, and efficiencies in expanding Creative’s impact and market share.
Do you have an accomplishment or programmatic result or activity that you are particularly proud of?
At a leading international development firm, I re-engineered the companies approach for doing business resulting in a win rate increasing from 17-60%, staff increasing from 900-2300 within a 3-year period of re-engineering.
Do you have a favorite, unique or fascinating story about your work in development?
My role was Siberian Director: The ZdravReform (health) work begun with a USAID-funded project in Siberia remains to this day with a focus on primary health care, individual and group physician practices, quality assurance procedures, and more.
My role was Designer/Project Director: A national training center established at the request of the President of Turkmenistan and funded by USAID has trained over 1000 physician and nurse teams over the past 10 years since its inception.
What is it that drew you to the company?
I was drawn to the company by the opportunity to work on the programmatic side towards an expanded market. I have always been intrigued with the skill-set and outward appearance of Creative’s product line and its people.
What do you appreciate most about Creative’s approach to project implementation?
A different spirit of engagement—one that breaths impact, rather than money.
