Six experts named to Creative’s Global Advisory Board

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Six distinguished experts in development, diplomacy and multilateral relations will form Creative Associates International’s Global Advisory Board, the company announced.

“We are proud to have this outstanding team of experts whose guidance will contribute to the continuing success of Creative as a leading global development company,” says Leland Kruvant, President and CEO of Creative. “They will play an important role in providing their special experience and insight into today’s development landscape and future trends.”

Kruvant, who will chair Creative’s Global Advisory Board, says it is a non-governing body that will provide advice to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors.

The six members of Creative’s Global Advisory Board are:

David M. Rodriguez

Retired General Rodriguez served as the Commander of the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), Commander of International Security Assistance Force Joint Command and Deputy Commander of U.S. Forces – Afghanistan. He retired from the U.S. Army in 2016 and today is a consultant.

Anthony A. Williams

Former two-term Mayor Williams led the resurgence of the nation’s capital. Today, former Mayor Williams is the CEO of the non-profit Federal City Council and a Board Member of the Bipartisan Policy Center. Earlier this year, he traveled to South Africa to lead discussions on best practices in city management and urban revitalization.

Andrew Natsios

Former Administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development Natsios led the agency from 1993 to 1998. He was also named Special Envoy to Sudan and CEO of Boston’s Big Dig. Natsios is currently the Director of the Scowcroft Institute of International Affairs at Texas A&M University.

Nisha Desai Biswal

Biswal served as the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia, Assistant Administrator for Asia at the U.S. Agency for International Development and as a professional staff member in Congress. Biswal is currently a Senior Advisor with the Albright Stonebridge Group and a Board Member with the Institute for Sustainable Communities.

Fernando Reimers

Professor Reimers is the Ford Foundation Professor of Practice in International Education and the Director of the Global Education Initiative at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education. Reimers is a continuing member of Creative’s Global Advisory Board.

M. Osman Siddique

Former U.S. Ambassador Siddique represented the United States in diplomatic posts, as well as being appointed by the U.S. Secretary of State as a Board Member of the East West Center. Siddique is a private sector entrepreneur and executive, founding International Travel Technologies, ITT/Travelogue and CorpNet International. Siddique is a continuing member of Creative’s Global Advisory Board.
