Honduran President Juan Orlando Hernández spoke at the inauguration ceremony. “The government of Honduras made an important investment in the outreach center,” he said. “But in the end, it is the community that takes ownership of this type of project.” The inauguration ceremony was attended by U.S. Ambassador James Nealon, USAID Mission Director James Watson and First Lady Ana Garcia de Hernández, among others.
