Creative is partnering with Kai Ming Head Start to develop a localized, research-based ECE curriculum that is culturally responsive and anti-bias, emphasizes Asian heritage while being inclusive of Latino and other cultures, and supports dual language learners.
The curriculum will integrate essential frameworks—Head Start’s Early Learning Outcomes Framework (ELOF), the Parent, Family, and Community Engagement (PFCE) Estructura, anti-bias education, the Project Approach, dual language learner strategies, and character education—into a single, cohesive and joyful learning experience. With a strong focus on play-based, project-oriented learning, the curriculum will support the development of children’s critical thinking, empathy, and inquiry skills.
Esta iniciativa se basa en nuestras casi cinco décadas de experiencia en la promoción de una educación inclusiva y apropiada para el desarrollo, comenzando con el trabajo pionero de Creative en la creación del currículo creativo original para Head Start..
