The Nigeria Lake Chad Basin program’s Women for Peace Platform trains women to identify and address challenges in their communities. This leads to greater social cohesion and reduces vulnerabilities to violent extremists. The program is funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development’s Office of Transition Initiatives.
