Audrey Mwansa, Deputy Chief of Party/Guidance and Counseling Adviser, USAID/Creative RTS Zambia

“I am working on Creative’s Read to Succeed project because I have lost family members to HIV and I am caring for nieces and nephews who have also lost family members. If these children had no one to support them in their education and with no emotional support, they would now be street boys. For me, I live this issue every day. It’s not about the job and the salary, but about giving what I have achieved in life to someone else.”

– from Audrey Mwansa, RTS Zambia Deputy Chief of Party, Creative Associates International

Correction: Audrey Mwansa has lost family members to HIV/AIDS, not her parents as originally stated.
