USAID’s Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contracts
An Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ) or Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) allows USAID missions or offices to use the services of prequalified contractors through a limited competitive bidding process, expediting the award-making process. Since the IDIQ/IQCs are typically focused on specific technical areas, they allow for rapid response specialized technical support.
Creative is the prime holder of several IDIQ/IQCs in its core technical areas of expertise.
Small Business Partnerships
Creative knows what it’s like to be a small business, and the spirit of entrepreneurship that helped the organization grow inspires its work with small businesses today. Creative was founded in 1977 by four entrepreneurial and talented women from diverse backgrounds. Its first office was in a Washington, D.C., basement of one of the founder’s homes.
In keeping with the organization’s commitment to engaging and supporting small businesses—as well as its own history as a woman- and minority-owned business—Creative often engages them as subcontractors to fill specialized roles on its global development projects or for other needs at headquarters.
USAID named Creative its 2018 Large Business Partner of the Year in recognition of its work with small businesses.
Creative is one of 10 awardees of SWIFT 5, a U.S. government contract to support countries in transition. The award allows Creative to compete to implement critical transitions programming.
Creative has been selected as an eligible provider of services to U.S. government agencies, including project management, consulting and research globally under the OASIS Pool 2 contract.
