Creative names new Vice President of Business Development  

Velora Loughmiller has been promoted to Vice President of Business Development at Creative Associates International, a global development company recognized for implementing innovative and locally driven programs in nearly 30 countries, it was announced today. 

Leland Kruvant, President and CEO of Creative, congratulated Loughmiller on her promotion to Vice President. “Velora has demonstrated smart thinking, resourcefulness and an ability to transform Creative’s mission and vision into reality,” says Kruvant.  

Loughmiller, who is the current Senior Director of Regional Business Development for Africa, joined Creative on Jan. 4, 2021, and worked on successful bids, including the recently awarded USAID Ethiopia Civic Engagement Activity.  

She will assume her new role on Oct. 1 and report to Noy Villalobos, the acting Vice President of Business Development.  

“Velora’s expertise has proven to be very valuable to Creative and its clients. This well-deserved promotion will allow the entire Creative team and global network of partners to take advantage of her talents,” Villalobos says. 

Loughmiller has more than 15 years’ experience in program management, business development, strategy and human capital and learning. Prior to Creative, she was the Senior Director of Business Development at ACDI/VOCA, a Senior Associate at Booz Allen and a Policy Analyst at the International Monetary Fund in Washington, D.C.
