Youth and volunteers from Alianza Joven Honduras-USAID scrimmaged on the new field with former Seattle Sounders player Roger Levesque, along with Sounders fans who won a contest to join the team in Honduras. The field was funded in large part by donations from Sounder FC fans, who paid $5 per entry in a contest for a chance to join the team in their efforts to support at-risk youth in Honduras. All proceeds were donated to Alianza Jovern Honduras-USAID. Levesque is now and current Director of Community Outreach.
