Seven out of eight want to leave

A focus group of eight kids talked about migration issues. Seven of them said they wanted to leave Honduras for the U.S. Most gave violence and insecurity as their main reason, and some also mentioned the desire for better opportunities for school and work. Nearly 60,000 unaccompanied minors have been apprehended in the U.S. this year alone—10 times more than in 2011. Photo by: Emanuel Joaquín Rodríguez
