Psychosocial Support and Emotional Learning

Are you looking to educate yourself or your colleagues on Psychosocial Support (PSS) and Social Emotional Learning (SEL)? Do you know the difference? Do you know why interventions in these areas are especially important in EiCC contexts? Well, Creative Associates International wants to share with you its PSS/SEL course so you can answer those questions.

Creative developed this course to fulfil an internal need within the company. Creative’s Education Practice Area has seen that many of the procurement opportunities emerging from donors such as USAID, DFID, World Bank are linking education to programs in economic growth, CVE, and democracy and governance.

We are excited to share this course with you which covers the following: The definitions of and differences between PSS and SEL; PSS and SEL frameworks as developed by the Collaborative for Academic, Social and Emotional Learning (CASEL), Inter-Agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE), International Rescue Committee (IRC); Why to consider PSS and SEL in EiCC contexts and examples of PSS and SEL in actions; Why contextualizing is important; Best Practices; and Methods of Assessments.
