40+ years of promoting positive change

Creative has implemented hundreds of projects around the globe since it was founded in 1977. From education and elections to governance and economic growth, Creative’s efforts have made a difference. For example, since the year 2000, Creative has trained more than 389,000 teachers in 21 countries—providing them with new skills and techniques that ultimately benefit their students.

Education IQC/Swaziland/Evaluation of Teacher Training Project

Date: February 1987 – March 1987

Creative evaluated the effectiveness of Swaziland's Teacher Training Project in achieving five major areas of program development. One purpose of the training project was to develop sound linkages among the Ministry of Education, the Teacher Training Colleges, the Teachers' Innovation and Distribution Centers, the National Curriculum Centers and the University of Swaziland. The final report provided recommendations for improving these linkages and achieving acceptable institutional capacity at all levels prior to the project completion date....

 

 

Egypt AUC LEAD

Date: April 2008 – July 2008

USAID awarded Creative the contract to conduct a mid-term evaluation of the American University in Cairo Leadership for Education and Development Scholarship Program to assess the quality of program delivery and results and to make adjustments to the program if needed....

 

 

Egypt/Assessment of USAID Contributions to Egypt Basic Education Program

Date: December 1982 – August 1987

Creative studied the effects of USAID-financed contributions to the Egypt Basic Education Project on access to and the efficiency of basic education. Issues the studies focused on included the impact of new school construction and new equipment on student enrollment, student retention and completion rates and literacy attainment of school-aged children. Also studied was the extent to which technical assistance helped in curriculum design and development, teacher training and planning. ...

 

 

Egypt/School Team Excellence Awards Program II

Date: August 2007 – September 2009

USAID awarded Creative the School Team Excellence Awards Program to help the country meet its goal of education for all boys and girls. The program raised awareness in schools and local communities about school-based reforms and the significance of meeting the National Education Standards’ targets. Teams of educators were encouraged to meet targets through an awards system that built on the successes and lessons learned from an earlier project....

 

 

ETHRD III/Asia and Pacific/Evaluation of APEC Partnership for Education Project

Date: August 1992 – January 1993

Creative conducted a preliminary evaluation of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Partnership for Education project after two years of implementation. The report assisted USAID in evaluating the project's progress and provided valuable information for the development of future activities and direction—especially in the private sector training area. The report, based on project documentation and extensive consultation with participating institutions and individuals, provided a baseline for future evaluations and activities....
